Rac on HP itanium

Rac Gurus
Has anybody implemented 10g1.0.3 rac on hp itanium
We are seeing lots of issues out here in the crs
The vip does not get failed over from node1 to node2
if the 1 node goes down
but if the node2 goes down the vip takes around 10
mins to failover to node1
And during this time the client connection hangs.
which ever client who have the retries set to 180 and
delay 5 starts getting tcp timeout.
the whole installation was done from node1.
is anybody having this kind of problem and if yes any
tweaking was done on the crs side and on the os side
Please let me know
And also i am seeing that the service_names does not
get refreshed on the listener side if the instance is
bounced
Any help will be greatly apreciated
