Just do a backup controlfile to trace on the source server and use that to
create the controlfile on your target server. Then do your restore.

I have a full RMAN backup of a database. I am trying to do a point in time
recovery to another server from the backup (and then change db name/db id
with nid).
However, the controlfile autobackup was deleted. I do have the snapshot
controlfile from the time the backup was taken.

How do I proceed?

Thanks in advance,
Karthik
