Hi,

databases A,X and B

1. Friday 30th, Full L0 backup from db A.
2. Sunday 2nd, Db A was refreshed from db X.
3. Monday 3rd, I need to refresh db B using backup from db A from step
1.

RECOVERY_TYPE:time
RECOVERY_UNTIL:to_date('30-APR-201017:00:00','dd-mm-yyyyhh24:mi:ss')

Getting following error:

RMAN-03002: failure of set command at 05/03/2010 14:25:07
RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20207:
UNTIL TIME or RECOVERY WINDOW is before RESETLOGS time

List backup command is not showing backup for db A on step 1.
However backup from step 1 is still on disk, Ive tried to register
manually using catalog backuppiece, but getting:

ORA-19870: error reading backup piece
/mount/A/oracle/A/full/A_HOT_04302010_1_1269
ORA-19691: /mount/A/oracle/A/full/A_HOT_04302010_1_1269 is from
different database: id=2262772549, name=A

Ora10g

Is it possible to use step 1 backup to clone db?

Tks,
