Thanks, Kevin. The issue discussed in this SuSE thread is documented on Metalink in the note# 394408.1 "Kernel BUG at aio:733 after Enabling Async I/O on SLES9". The note attributes this problem to the defect in Novell's kernel, which happens to affect OCFS2. Are you aware of any other asnych i/o issues on OCFS2?
