okay... lots of good advice... thanks.  now let me spin it like i
should have from the begining.  Im the only DBA in the joint.
supporting 2 major areas, ECOMM and the DW.  in the past he has asked
that i let him know if i plan on doing something like this.  not sure
if thats so he can plan or what.  my gut, which i should follow is to
not tell him. but i wanted to be sure.  this company isnt bad to work
for really.  long hours little pay, just like most of you im sure.
