Oracle Spatial Comments and/or advise

Is anyone using Oracle Spatial ? Is so we are looking for comments on the 
following:
 
What version ? 
Ease of use? Compared to MS 2000 / Spatial solution would be good.
Cost for purchasing ?
 
Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.
