4.1.0 ran in 512K! We did a distributed order entry system, nation wide
to about 20-30 sites. They would dump down to a VAX at night for
processing and pricing.
We upgraded to some other 4.1.x and had to go to 640K.
We were able to run on AT boxes with a whole 10MB drive.
That was back when "Dr. DBA" used to make house calls.
