I may be mistaken, but I believe I recall seeing a statement that NCLOB is * not* supported on at least some releases. Technically, this is not the same thing as a CLOB, but sometimes we don't distinguish between CLOB / NCLOB as carefully as perhaps we should... Anyway, supported data types should be reported in the relevant Streams Reference manual.
