Well, you could save a few bucks in TDPO and Oracle Licensing...

Now, given that most of the people in this list are DBA, I think we are
biased against nonsensical nondatabases like that. Oh, and java persistence
sucks, specially when they try to skip the database altogether. They should
stick to mobile devices and leave the real programs to real languages.

Ok, rant over.

That being said, i expect that by removing the RDBMS you'd get a slight
performance increase when dealing with media, but I'm not sure it's the best
option when dealing with data (reinveinting the wheel, anyone?) such as
grades, personal information and such.
