The other error we received while patching another system is:

Exception in thread "main" oracle.sysman.oii.oiii.OiiiOneoffException:
File c:\
racle\ora92\\Apache\modplsql\cfg\adddad.htm is already patched by
4751528.

Files on system are patched but Inventory Update has failed. Please run
'opatc

This is the error I received....

OPatch encounters the following issues during file patching: The
following java archives on Windows had problems with being patched:
1. oembase-9_2_0.jar
        [ object: PublishedReportGenerator.class ]

I have the correct opatch version; I set the Oracle Home properly; I
didn't do anything with Perl but presume it's OK because opatch ran...
So, where do I go from here?

we have applied patch 5064365 (Release 9.2.0.7 Patch 9 ) succesfully
before. Some things to pay attention to:
- bring down all services/programs that can potentially use Oracle
client libs before you start, including your own sqlplus sessions to
bring down the databases!
- opatch version must be at least 1.0.0.0.55
- set active_state_perl=TRUE and set PERL5LIB to your perllib
- set oracle_home properly

It helps if you can give a brief description of the type of errors you
see.

Btw, I noticed today that there's yet another patch on Metalink labeled
5212087 (540K/11-May-2006) According to the description it contains a
fix for DBMS_STATS, I didn't check if 5212087 is a vehicle for fixes of
security issues still open after CPUApr2006.

Andre
