Re: ASM Datafiles and RMAN duplicate db

It isn't an ASM issue per se, but rather an Oracle Managed Files issue -
you'll see the same behaviour (I believe) with a file system but where the
various OMF parameters are set and datafiles etc are never explicitly
named.
