Changing the passwords, by itself, shouldn't cause anything to take
more time. The change password operation is really a pass/fail issue.
(Either it works, or it doesn't).
Yury is probably correct. If you regenerated the JAR files (whether
or not "anything changed" to your knowledge), the sheer act of
regenerating them will cause the client side JAR cache to refresh,
which could make your initial connections take longer. Once the
client-side JAR cache has been updated, performance should return to
normal.
Now, if the same machines are STILL taking forever to load, you may
have something else going on.
