I agree with Marty. True photo quality is a claim only inkjets can make. In our office we have a Kyocera color laser printer for "fast-and-dirty", and an HP inkjet for digital photos, such as our clinic staff photo composite. The inkjet gets enough use so that the inkjets stay fresh and unclogged, and little enough use that changing cartridges does not become a burden. -jcp ******** John C. If you want photo quality, I think you are stuck with inkjet or, for even more photo quality, dye sub. The larger carriage (13") inkjets have much larger ink tanks, so they don't need to be replaced as often, and the unit costs are somewhat better. And 3rd party ink companies also make gizmos that refill cartridges while you use them, but the print settings usually need some fiddling with to provide good color accuracy.
