Hi list,
I've read the top surface of CDs without damaging them. I have been doing
this since I started collecting CDs in around 1986 or 87. Sometimes you can
read the print on a CD surface, and sometimes you can't; depends on the
background and foreground colors, the print font, the bold or light quality
of the print, and who knows what else.
