I'd agree with Gail.  Depending on print quality, fonts and level of
interest, I can eaisly achieve 120 words per minute.  I'd say an average
speed of 100-120 is more likely. So much can govern a "test" that I
would not put much store in it.  I believe those who say they get speeds
of up to 150-160.  It is true I can read braille at twice that speed,
but the Optacon gives me the access immediately and without the hassle
of a computer.

If TSI said that, they didn't do much timing. I've timed at 120 words
per minute and can read more than that when the type is clear and I'm in
good form and I'm sure there are people who can read faster than I.
