Hi, All,
The Video-Tim is, or probably was, similar to the Optacon, except that the
image was displayed on a refreshable array of dots rather than on an array of
vibrating reeds. The image was input through a camera similar to that of the
Optacon.
At an approximate cost of 14,000 euros, or $21,000, this was prohibitively
expensive.
But, I guess this has disappeared as well, or so it seems ...
