[opendtv] Basic basic service

This is the first time I see such "basic basic" service specified:

http://www22.verizon.com/Residential/FiOSTV/Plans/Plans.htm

Bottom of the page, in the smallest print:

"FiOS TV Local service package also available, providing access to local TV 
channels and community and educational programming for $12.99/month."

My FiOS-using office neighbor says this package is transmitted in clear QAM.

So, what does anyone guess will happen to this service after the OTA TV 
channels are taken away?

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 
FreeLists.org 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
