Thinking a bit more on the subject of lowering OTA quality as a means of price discrimination and copy protection. It occurs to me that OTA producers are maybe missing the boat a bit here. Since more and more $$$ are being generated in DVD sales you would think that any possible candidate for those eventual sales would be at least R rated. Every time they make a TV episode they should film just a couple quick scenes that would not go onto the OTA or airplane version. Just a quick breast shot here and there would probably do wonders if held in reserve for the "uncut" DVD sales and also make it a candidate for reruns on premium channels in full form.
