This question did come up during our conversation. I believe the concern was that we couldn't deny students a test that earned foreign language credits based on the standards for our classes (I'll have to check with Teresa Sayre on this), but I don't think we'll be advertising it like that; we'll be looking for heritage native speakers who would be best suited for this kind of exam. Our French program is highly impacted by a flood of native and heritage speakers because we don't have an SNS program (it was before, as well).
