[obol] bitterns

Crown Z Trail walkers: good time to visit the marsh area in the Scappoose
lowlands in the evening hours. The bitterns are calling. After 7 p.m.
yesterday, I managed to spot one fairly close to the trail, and another was
calling in the distance. Lots of singing and feeding activity by other
residents at that time, as well. A couple of male cinnamon teals were among a
scattering of other ducks, and lots of violet-green swallows overhead. Didn't
see any warblers in the willows!
