The group decided to head out to bird the end of Royal Ave. We made the loop on the dike going west from the platform around to the barn pond and back. Best sighting of the day was probably the LONG-BILLED CURLEW that flew in from the south and ended up somewhere out near the lake. The entire area is drying out fast, not much shorebird habitat left.
