The Sauvie Island birding show continues. At 7AM, enroute to Big Eddy parking, there was a Snowy Egret in Grassy Lake with a couple dozen Great Egrets. Sturgeon Lake had five Marbled Godwits, four Sabine's Gull (one adult breeding plumage), and a Ruff with some Pectoral Sandpipers. Good morning activity until high tide about 10AM displaced most stuff (except long-legged waders like Yellowlegs). Afternoon activity resumed about 1PM. A single Red-necked Phalarope flew in. A Peregrine Falcon buzzed everything away so I left. Don Coggswell
