I got some shots of a male Rufous/Allen’s I think is a hybrid at New River.
Notching on r2 is subtle, not obvious like on a Rufous.
Also major rump movement- I have audio of the cacophony of singing birds I
heard in a couple locations (once the sun emerged).
Heard some early Marbled Murrelets keering overhead during a rain shower.
Mud is looking great here at New River off end of New River Spur trail.
Also looking good at Lower Fourmile, so should be good end of month when
the big shorebird movement happens.
