Mike Patterson just called from the beach about three or four miles north
of the Del Rey beach access (and south of Sunset Beach) N. Of Gearhart with
a non-breeding plumaged gull that fits the description of a Black-headed
Gull. He noted a larger bill and more black in the underwing-tips than
Bonaparte's Gull. The beach is foggy and he didn't think the bird was going
anywhere due to that. He will post more details and photos asap. That's it!
