Thanks to Merle for ebirding the birds seen today. Cold temps prevailed but
we were lucky that the rain was never serious while we were outside scoping.
We did have snow falling and on the road near Todd Lake at the end of the
day. Highlights today, a Red shouldered Hawk, Grebe slam, Great Egrets,
Common Loons and a Merlin. The only Scoter was unidentified as it never
lifted a face or wing to show us ID. p.s. note that my hyphen key is not
working, substituting with =
