After a false start around 8 in the heavy rain at Klootchman, Diane Pettey and
I did a two-hour seawatch at the Florence north jetty this morning. highlights:
1 sabines gull
150 fulmar
1 pinkfoot shear
500 heermanns
variety of alcids after 10
1 pom jaeger
3 jaeger sp
steady heavy movements loons, scoters, smaller movements bonies, peeps, dc corms
going to s jetty at noon, hope to relocate mystery alcid on incoming tide.
