Walked out to the end of Royal today or rather to where the flooding starts
which is well before Tern island.
60 black bellied plovers were on the road with 1000 Dunlin 8 greater yellowlegs
and 4 American pipits .
From the platform: 1 redhead duck
40 American White Pelicans
K.R. Nielsen: 28 black bellied plovers, 22 greater yellowlegs, smaller birds
hidden in grass but I think were Dunlin. Also present 500 cackling geese with
pintail ,mallards gadwall and green winged teal mixed in.
