Powell Butte Nature Park
Tuesday, April 3, 7:30-9:00 AM
Calling all Birders to assist with our breeding bird survey! The goals of the
survey are to 1) update the Powell Butte Nature Park bird list 2) associate
fauna with vegetation communities and 3) observe the change in avian
communities on the Butte before and after reservoir construction and
restoration efforts. Volunteer Bird Surveyors should have at least an
average/intermediate level of bird identification by sight and/or sound. This
training focuses on the survey techniques and does not include PNW bird
