Hi Steve, While Tom is right that their are more birding apps for the iPhone, I think the Android OS is starting to catchi up somewhat. Birdseye is coming out with an Android version very soon, at least they better because I already spent my 20 bucks so they could finish the programming. cheers, Jim Dr. Jim Moodie Science Dept COCC Bend, OR 97701 ________________________________________ From: obol-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [obol-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Kornfeld [sbkornfeld@xxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2014 6:23 To: OBOL Subject: [obol] Android vs IOS OBOL, I lost my smartphone and I need to replace it. I have been an Android user in the past. My sense is that iPhone has become the favorite of the birding community mainly because of the more numerous birding apps. Has anyone out there used both systems and can offer an opinion. thanks Steve Kornfeld Bend OBOL archives: www.freelists.org/archive/obol Manage your account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/obol Contact moderators: obol-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
