For those on lists such as The Tech Zone, Blind Tech and others may have
seen a message inviting people to join a list called Windows 10 for the
blind (a completely different list than the one I'm currently presiding).
One day, someone sends a message to that list (which was hosted on
Groups.IO), and subsequently was deleted (the whole list, that is). I have
resurrected that list under a different name and under a different
leadership, and I have resolved to keep a closer eye on the owner of the
original Windows 10 list.
In regards to relationship between this list and the Win10 list (the new
one), you could say that this list served as a model for the new Win10 list.
Unlike this list (which will be around for a while), the Win10 list allows
people using other screen readers to join.

This particular Windows 10 list at Freelists by the name of NVDA-Winten, is
one NVDA or blind Windows 10 group.
What are these first and second generations of this seemingly other Windows
10 blindness related group?
Could someone ellucidate all this a bit to me?

·Subject tag change: Currently the subject tag for the list is

that the subject tag be changed (Groups.IO has a setting to
change this) to something short, such as “WinTen”,
“WinTen-blind”, “W10” and so on.
·Subgroups: Groups.IO has a subgroups feature: groups within a
parent group. There’s a proposal to create some subgroups,
including one for NVDA users and another for Windows Insiders,
each one headed by a chair who’ll receive equivalent of a list owner
rights.
I’ll send a reminder to new subscribers (Maheen is the head
owner at this point, and I do have same rights as him at this
time).
