Hi, just to be more precise, this only works when you are not playing a sound then? as if I am playing it you get cannot telly you the remaining time etc spoken.
I don't use the new version yet. Is it much the same as the old one look and feel wise? Also, the problem with the add on on Goldwave for dropped start and end does not of course happen on the last full release as I said on the ticket, but sometimes, rarely it will work. However moving back from 5.70 of Goldwave to 5.65 makes the problem go away entirely. 
Weird.

Hi GoldWave users,
The first new feature for 3.0-dev is now available: after downloading this
snapshot, pressing NvDA+Shift+R while a sound is opened will tell you the
remaining time for the track. Also, I've removed redrawing message and am
still keeping an eye on status announcement issue - this may not be resolved 
until NVDA 2015.1 is released so we can narrow down what's causing the
issue.
Lastly, a warning for GoldWave 6 users: there is an issue where if you
restart NVDA while GoldWave is running, GoldWave will show system error
message. I'm looking into this issue and hope to resolve it as soon as
possible (this happens at least with Windows 8.1; anybody using Windows 7,
please try restarting NVDA while GoldWave is running to see if an error
message comes up). Any suggestions, bug reports and feedback are welcome
regarding GoldWave app module.
