First of all, thank you for your suggestions, it reminds me that I had
to answer some questions which I am going to also answer in the same
time because the subject is the same.

I agree.
We should also keep the enter/escape keys, because these shortcut are
still working, are a standard behavior and are not provided on Dropbox GUI.
If others users can also answer, do you think these shortcuts are useful?
About all the rest except the Metro app part, I agree, it can be
removed, except if someone wants to maintain the preferences dialog support.
But this is not an easy task, because everybody haven't the same
installed version.

The idea of this shortcut is to be able to get these information as
quickly as possible.
If we remove all informations which are easily accessible from the
system tray icon, we could also remove state announcement.
But again, others users should answer, because it is sure version number
is not as important as the state, so we could keep the state.
Another solution is to keep all the informations for one press. The
script could announce "Dropbox {state}, version : {version}" for example.
2. Is it possible to press space on the Dropbox icon using the addon? If
so Dropbox will open its accessible menu.
Thanks for this information, I didn't know the space key activates the
accessible menu.
So we again have to know how this feature is used.
Because this shortcut was here before the new menu, in fact it is here
since the beginning, the idea was the same, being able to open the menu
as quickly as possible.
About the questions I still haven't answer, if we remove version
information or announce it after the state when pressing the shortcut
one time, there is not any reason to keep this delay when pressing
Shift+NVDA+D.
