Teros has announced version 2.0 of its Teros-100 Application Protection
System, an appliance to protect Internet connected applications from
attack. Teros-100 comes in a 1U rack-mountable box and scans traffic in a
demilitarized zone (DMZ) to and from Web servers and specific applications.
The device can keep sensitive data from leaving an application and reaching
the public Internet, prevent website defacements, and enforce distinct
password policies. Pricing starts at $25,000.
