�- "Bringing the Ocean to the Middle School Classroom" (July 14-17,
�2003): A workshop designed to introduce grade 6-9 educators to new
�scientific content and applications for the classroom. �The goal of
�the workshop is to provide participants with content, resources, and
�experiences based on the latest oceanographic research, technology,
�and data.

�- On –line Curricula Project: �Pilot Teachers Needed! � The Mid
�Atlantic COSEE is offering the opportunity to review unique and
�compelling Internet based curricula that focus on interdisciplinary
�ocean science topics. �The �C.O.O.L Classroom is designed to teach
�basic science concepts using an interdisciplinary marine science
�theme. �The Gulf Stream Voyage is an online multidisciplinary project
�that utilizes both real time data and primary source materials to help
�guide students to discover the science and history of the Gulf Stream.
�The Mid Atlantic COSEE is offering the opportunity for educators to
�pilot test these materials in their middle or high school classrooms.
