[muglo] iTunes gagged

The volume control for apparently every song on my wife's iPod shows a lock
icon. In some cases this limits the volume almost to inaudibility. We think
this is a recent development; at least neither of us has noticed it before if
it existed previously. If the lock did appear suddenly for some reason, is
there a way to get rid of it just as suddenly? The iTunes Help file is no help
at all.
