There seems to be something of a deja vu here... it was many years
ago when I was President that we had problems getting enough members
to come out to Meetings and we were paying for a room to hold them
that I proposed that we gave up having Meetings and became an On-line
group with the provision for an occasional Meeting if deemed
necessary... one problem was that members' interests were becoming
more separated so that only a small number of members would turn up
if interested in the topic... at the time this was accomplished by
using the freelist as a means of discussion which has been pretty
successful... but perhaps the use of a forum (considered some months
ago) should be further persued as this would allow the use of
diagrams, pictures, etc. to be incorporated into the discussions...
might I suggest one or more members looking into this, particularly
considering ease of use...

Comments....
