[muglo] HP SCANJET 4600

I¹m wondering if someone can help me.
Yesterday, I used my scanner for the first time. I was able to scan the
document into the computer and convert it to a Word document. The problem
arose when I tried to send an email with the document (.doc) as an
attachment. It would not send. I then tried it as a (.jpg) image file and
it also wouldn¹t send.
The email then sent without a problem when I removed the attachment.
Any ideas?
