Then there's no easy way to do this, Bill. I'd seriously think about setting this up properly in Excel or Access (or even in Outlook, with a custom category) - having your label template and your data in one document strikes me as both risky and - as you're finding - restrictive. Tables-sort is for situations where you have tabulated data and usually moves whole rows up and down when it sorts based on the contents of one column.
