Are you using a mail merge? If so, sort your SOURCE DATA file, not the
actual table with the labels in it.

Yesterday I installed Office 2003 Pro Edition. A nice update from 2000 Pro.
I have a list of labels that i print off once a month,put the labels on the
envelope and put them in the mail using the avery label system # 5660 .As
membership changes I add or remove
names.The list is badly out of alphbetical order. I have gone to
Tables..sort text..sort by and the first box says paragraphs or field 1 with
the box on the right saying text,number,date. I have gone to the top right
corner asking for help and still can't figure out the way to do it. After
trying all the combinations of sorting I wonder...am I at the proper place
(Tables) or am i going at it wrong?..Any help would be
appreciated..T.I.A........bill
