In fact, Greg was written up in Enterprise Systems Magazine regarding the
fact that he DOES use Word as a system admin tool! Remember his file
organizer...I use that for project files, but he added some non-table
options so he can use it to manage thousands of log file. The MS Windows
folks freaked out with some of his scripts that use Word as an admin
tool...so one of the guys who writes for the mag did an article that
mentions this stuff.
For those interested, here's a copy of part of the article. Sorry that I
couldn't find the whole thing online anymore, but I have it in PDF format if
anyone would like a copy of the entire article. This URL below has a screen
shot from the article that talks about Greg using "humble" Word as the best
admin tool out there, as well as links to scripts. And I've retyped the text
