Linda,

First, I would suggest that you first turn on the screen graphics so you
can see where your text REALLY ends because you can't type or paste
anything in an "open area." (another part of your document that you
haven't typed in or used yet) To do this, either click on the Show/Hide
button on the Standard toolbar or click on Tools, Options, View tab, and
in the Formatting marks area, check mark the All box.

Then, position your cursor at the bottom of the document (Ctrl + End is
a shortcut there) and touch ENTER to add as many blank lines as you
need. Now you've created an area capable of receiving your pasted text.

Hope this helps.

Judy

Subject: [mso] pasting a new paragraph

Hi Linda and group,
I have a question about cutting and pasting a sentence or paragraph.
Can I=20
cut a sentence for example from the beginning of my document and place
on=20
another part of my document - that I haven't typed in or used yet? I
seem to be=20
having trouble pasting in a new area - my paste always wants to go where
I have=20
been working in the document and I don't know why.....sorry for being so

simple - but its the little things that get me - ya know?
Thank you in advance. Beth
