Hi Alex,

As you already know - 2Gb is the absolute limit for an Outlook 200 PST file.

But you can (and should) keep it under that by setting up auto archive old 
items to one or more other PST files.
Backing up all of your data is as simple as backing up the PST file regularly.
To avoid the 2Gb limit totally, move to Outlook 2003 - it has a MUCH higher 
file size limit.
