Hey Don....funny you should ask this, cuz I've seen a preview copy of
the December issur of Dian's ezine, TechTrax....which should be
available to all in about a week I think....I see an article in there
that she wrote called "Make Your Own Holiday Labels"......so, you should
be all set in about a week.

If you want to sign up to be sure you are notified when the next issue
is up and available, go here:
http://www.mousetrax.com/techtrax

I've got an article in the next issue also....it teaches how to use
templates in Outlook to create Out of Office replies when you don't use
Exchange Server....for those who are going away for the holidays....just
remember NOT to include this group if you make one LOL

Subject: [mso] Word Labels with Graphics

As you all know, Christmas is just around the corner
and I normally create labels using Mail Merge in
Word 97. However, I would like to print a graphic
(ie, a little Christmas picture) on the left side of the
label (the same graphic for each one.) I have been
doing this for several years, but I still don't know how
to do it automatically in Word. I end up by manually
copying the graphic into each label. It isn't that great
a task, but it seems that there should be an easy way
to add the graphic to each label.

I used to be able to do it (at least semiautomatically)
in the text version of Wordperfect and before that in
Applewriter, and it was easier than in Word.

I don't remember the procedure I am using now, but
will be desperate for it in a week or two (or three :^) )

Thanks

Don Elias
