Jim,
I recognize that your cursor doesn't go where you want it to go with your
mouse, but I had a problem with my cursor as well awhile ago, with Word 2007
on
a Vista machine in that my cursor was cycling between the I-Beam insertion
point and a "busy" indication (a revolving torus) ... it was very annoying and
difficult to type while it was doing this. Someone suggested that I delete
my default printer and reinstall it ... I couldn't see how the printer would
effect the cursor in Word, but I deleted and reinstalled the printer
definition and it cured my problem. It's a simple action, and worth the try.
