Further to Linda's comments...you can change the user info under Tools/Options/UserInfo. But that only changes it for Word, not the PC. And I don't know if that'll change things for previous docs, I doubt it, but you can try. However, Linda is right...post to one of the Desktop/Word groups at the URL below is probably your best bet if you don't get an answer here (and mine wasn't very good<g>). You can find your way there via this default URL of http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups. Org (E-mail) Subject: [mso] User Information and Inserting Comments in Word 2000 Hi all, I posted the question copied below during the time this list was down and thought it was lost in the shuffle, so I re-posted it. However there were still had no replies so I guess no one who's read it knows the answer. My new question then is whether someone can recommend another list (maybe an MS MVP list or some such thing) where I might find the answer? Thanks for any help. Original Question: Does anyone if it's possible to make changes to the User Information in Word and have those changes reflected in comments previously inserted into a Word document? In other words, comments have already been inserted into the Word doc, and THEN the user name on the PC was changed...any way to globally change the User Name associated with those comments?
