It sounds like you are using a lot of section breaks, and I'm guessing
since page 4 is section 1 and page 5 is section 3, you have a
continuous section break on page 4 somewhere that is section 2 and
then a next page section break to go to page 5.  Make sure the
show/hide paragraph marks button is activated and you should be able
to see section breaks and page breaks.

My advice is always to only use section breaks where you absolute need
them, which usually means a header/footer change or a page layout
change, although there are other reasons.  If you need to manually
break a page, use a hard page break before you use a section break.

But, to get rid of the different first page header on page 5, open the
header/footer and go to page setup and turn off the different first
page header option, in that section.
