[mso] Re: Underlined Hyperlinks in Powerpoint

I've tried that. My text is in a shape in an organization chart. When I
convert the organization chart to pdf for publishing to our intranet, for
some reason, the hyperlinks attached to the shapes do not get converted.
The only way I can get the hyperlinks to work in a pdf is to hyperlink the
text, not the shape, and use the convert to pdf option that came with the
Flashpaper toolbar which basically converts it to Flashpaper first, then to
pdf. And this way only works if the text within the shape is hyperlinked.
If the shape itself is hyperlink, Flashpaper converts it, but moves each
hyperlink up one shape. (I know, weird).
If I use the Adobe pdf convert, I loose the hyperlinks whether or not they
are attached to the shape or the text within the shape.

But thanks for the tip.

Way I've done it in Powerpoint XP and 2003 is assigning the hyperlink to an
empty text box. Then using Edit Text to enter whatever text desired to
represent the link.
