Office 2002 is the same as Office XP...and yes, if you have the option to
use 2002 instead of 2000 for a mail merge for emailing, I would definitely
recommend it....it's one of the few features in Word 2002 that I found
GREATLY improved from 2000

but you can personalize them so the actual message body includes their own
name, etc. (tho I will admit, the mailmerge to emails feature in versions of
Word previous to 2002 were kinda buggy...but in the later versions it works

Ok, what about not using Office 2000, but use Office XP instead? (Or is
Office 2002 actually Office XO ?? I can't keep it straight.)
