Hello everyone. I am trying to import a smaller file this time- just 55,000 records. Is there a way to get Access to reveal which record is causing a problem? I am getting an error message after I attempt to import that simply says: Invalid Argument. [OK] Clicking "OK" brings this message up under the "Import Text Wizard" An error occurred trying to import the file 'C:\AllUSA8\File001.TXT' The file was not imported/ [OK] There probably is a record in the file it is not sure what to do with, too many / few commas, or too many / few quotation marks, or some undesired character. I am wondering if there is a way to get the record number it had a problem with, and I will check the original data from that. Thank you.
