Graham,

Thank you for responding.  I have unchecked those boxes but they seem to
keep toggling back on when I touch the table again?

Hi Scot

You could try checking (\Table\Table Properties\Table tab) and see whether,
this time, the table is set with a "Preferred width" from a default setting.
I often get this problem and, if that's it, you just need to uncheck the
relevant box.
